There were three of us for dinner. We ordered many things but highlights were the Pecan Crusted Chicken and my husband loved The Bruce burger. I started with matzoh ball soup which was very good and for dessert we got the Tiramisu. Portions were good. Service was excellent.
This is a great restaurant, outstanding food and outstanding service. It's such a shame that they get negatively impacted by what I consider to be a wrong decision as far as their Kashrut is concerned. I require kosher supervision and I understand that sometimes restaurants may have some difficulty in maintaining the high standards they even I require. But a serendipitous decision by a Mashgiach over frozen fish hardly qualifies the impugning of 12 years of Kosher service to the Houston community. Hopefully this will be reconsidered and Rabbi Dubin will not drive this Jewish business into bankruptcy. Maintain the standards but don't throw out the baby with the proverbial bath water.
the food was absolutely delicious and was reasonably priced. the waiter was friendly and food came relatively quickly. the ambiance was great and had a nice feel. kosher food is usually very expensive and pretty good but this restaurant was amazing and well priced. 1000% recommend!!!
Very good food. Good atmosphere. But 1. 3.65% charge if you pay with credit card 2. Their recommended tip amount includes the percentage on tax and credit card fee!!

Came back, ordered the Bruce, and it was great again. The matzah ball soup was surprisingly good too. Pretty quiet at the restaurant, surprised they haven't been "discovered" for their great, reasonably priced steakhouse burgers. Good service too. The pepper steak was meh but had low expectations. Easy 5 stars.
Our son told us we needed to try Genesis, glad we did. My wife enjoyed the matza ball soup. I liked it too. I loved the chicken fried steak, she helped me make it disappear. We'll be back for more goodies. Remember they open at 12 noon, not 11 am.
Wow, so we had lived in Meyerland for years and we never been to this place. They serve variety of food and all we had tonight was great! The service was pretty nice although sometimes we waked a bit longer for check the drink status and for check. Overall we like it. We will definitely come back for dinner again!
